Vin Rouge Blogging : Trout Almandine

I recently went to Vin Rouge and had the Trout Almandine, which was covered with a brown-butter almond sauce. I was really impressed with how light this seemed when I ate the leftovers cold. It was really delicious at both temperatures.

It seemed too healthy, so I asked to substitute the fries for the pureed potatoes. I should just order a side of fries as my whole meal, because they certainly give me enough of them.

We had excellent service and our very entertaining waiter really did not mean to drop his pen on my head.
